This is an Important Message for everyone!
We’ve got to stop normalising relapse. A relapse is not a part of your recovery — it’s part of the addiction. And that’s the truth that needs to be said out loud.
Too often, people say, “It’s okay, you’ll relapse,” like it’s some kind of expected milestone. But it’s not okay. A relapse can be deadly. Depending on your drug of choice, one wrong move can end a life — overdose on heroin, ice, alcohol poisoning, choking on your own vomit… these aren’t scare tactics, they’re facts.
Addiction kills. And we’ve got to stop treating it like a joke. Alcohol is everywhere — accepted, celebrated, and sold as happiness in a bottle. Yet it’s one of the hardest drugs to give up and one of the most dangerous to return to.
The strangest part? When you stop drinking, people actually ask why. That’s when you realise how twisted society’s relationship with alcohol really is.
So let’s be clear — relapse is not your destiny. Recovery is. Stay aware, stay strong, and stay fkn sober…..
