This week really reminded me of the power of community. Every morning, a few of us meet down at the coffee shop — just to have a yarn, share a laugh, and start the day right.
The other day, an elderly gentleman, Paul, had his bike stolen right from under our noses. It was gut-wrenching to see. But what happened next was incredible. Within hours, people we barely knew were offering to buy him a new bike. Some even offered their own. Complete strangers coming together — just because they cared.
It showed me how much impact these small, everyday connections actually have. We might only see each other for ten minutes over a morning coffee, but when something happens, we all show up. That’s community. That’s heart.
Seeing Paul back again today, smiling, reminded me — we can’t control what people do, but we can control how we respond. And when we choose kindness, when we pull together, the good spills over. It multiplies.
Thank you for being you — for showing up, for caring, and for being part of something real.
Stay FKN Happy,
Suzi & Tony
